June Bug
Mugginsquilts is at it again...she has decided to make this blanket all on her own to donate to the WCOBBS!! No hurt wrist is going to slow her down...but running out of yarn might!!! I cannot wait to see how this one turns out!! Go rest your wrist mugginsquilts!!!
Chocolate Cherries...all finished up
This blanket flew off our knitters' needles!!! Mugginsquilts finished up the last sections of this log cabin style blanket, and added a beautiful scalloped border. Looks delicious ladies!!! Wonderful work!!!
Alberta Flag...Almost Done!!
This beauty has had a long journey...but it is almost over. Sue in Calgary added the beautiful blue sky stripe, and Bowlerkym recently finished section six...a gorgeous red and white St George Cross. All that's left is a border, and this one is good to go!! Great job everyone!!!
Dessert Before Dinner
Our group had so much fun doing the log cabin style blanket, Chocolate Cherries, that they've already started another one!!! Mugginsquilts got this one going, and she has named is Dessert Before Dinner...who said you have to save the best for last??
Calgary Stampede, Here We Come!!!
Here is one of our newest blankets in circulation. It is going to be all red and white...a tribute to the colors of the Calgary Stampede. Our group decided to submit an entry into the Western Showcase Charity Division. We aren't going to be judged, and we won't win any prizes, but we will hopefully get some recognition for our group. All submitted items to this division are being donated to the Rowan House Emergency Shelter for at risk women and their
families. Bowlerkym started things off with a checkerboard pattern...it reminds me of the chuckwagon races!!! I (heffalump23) added the red garter stitch stripe. Now it is off to BC!!! YAHOO!!!!

Getting More Delicious Everyday!!
Here's an update on Yummy Cupcake....Knittingwater added a delicious sugar cube pattern stripe!!! This blanket truly looks good enough to eat!!! I cannot wait to see what other sweet treats get added in the next few stripes!!!!
